selling album was Ride the Lighting selling over 5 million but Metallica

best selling album was in the 90's with the album called "The Black Album"

even tho theres not name for the album. This album sold over 31 million copies.

Metallica will always be know for there development of Subgenre speed metal

music that had a lot of electric guitar riffs and solos as the main focus of there

msuic and is widly considered the best Heavy Metal band of all time.

U2

U2 a irish rock band who became very poplure in the 80's and still today.

U2 consisted of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen jr. U2 had

iconic albums like WAR but there best selling album was Joseph Tree that sold

over 25 million. U2 music focused on personal and social political thems and were

known to be a post punk rock band a band that got away from the norm of punk rock.

U2 changed there style a lot over the years but are know for there alternative rock

and post punk rock music.
